Zip your coat. We are in southeast Iceland, at the edge of Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe by volume. In winter, meltwater leaves caves inside the ice, and on clear nights the sky lights up. We will read the glacier, step into blue ice, watch the aurora, and walk a beach of ice and black sand.
