Put on your sunglasses. We are on the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, about 3,650 meters up in the Andes. It is the largest salt flat on Earth, more than 10,000 square kilometers of white. We will find out where the salt came from, watch it turn into a mirror, read its patterns, and look at what lies underneath.
